Framework document on resettlement

           The Resettlement Framework Document (RDF) is being presented as part of the preparatory process for additional funding for the IDP Living Conditions and Income Support Project jointly funded by the Government of Azerbaijan and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank).

           The main purpose of the KCS is to prepare the framework conditions to address the possible adverse effects related to land acquisition and resettlement during the implementation period of the aforementioned project. The KCS was prepared as a guideline document for the preparation of future possible resettlement documents and reduction of social impacts, reflecting the relevant laws and requirements.

           During the preparation of the document, public consultations were held in various geographical areas in order to collect the suggestions and comments of the potentially affected population, and the collected relevant suggestions were integrated into the final version of the document.
